CF/PCMCIA Expander™

Adapts CF Type I or II Devices to Use PCMCIA Type I, II, or III Cards

The Accurite CF/PCMCIA Expander adapts compatible CF Type I or II devices to operate with a multitude of various PCMCIA cards (PC Cards). The Adapter accepts the thinner (3.3 mm) Type I PC Cards, the standard (5 mm) Type II cards, and the thicker (10.5 mm) Type III cards. The opportunities are incredible. You can now interface your pocket PC with PC Card size wireless modems and memory cards. High capacity storage peripherals like the Accurite Travel 120 and Travel HD can now be used with most devices that have CF Type I or II slots. For instance, you can now interface a pocket PC with a 20 gigabyte hard drive.

Since some PCMCIA cards use a higher current and voltage than the CF Type I or II cards, the Accurite CF/ PCMCIA Expander is equipped with a power jack that accepts the included AC adapter for that eventuality. Two model configurations are available with either the 120 volt AC adapter or the 230 volt AC adapter. Easy access jumpers are also provided to change the Adapter's current and voltage configuration. For remote use, an Auto Lighter adapter is also available.
